Oh Radio…

Radio has been part of our modern society for over 100 years now.  Even though it has been slowly replaced by the television, the MP3 players and the internet, the radio stations are still as popular as before here in France that many people still reply on for traffic, weather and news informations when they are in their cars. The museum Musée des Arts et Métiers (Arts and Occupations) is paying a homage to this amazing invention entitled “Radio: ouvrez grand vos oreilles! (Radio: let your ears wide open)” where old objects, documentations, old archived sounds, etc are displayed to give you a complete history of the radio evolution. The exhibition has also designed especially for people who are visually challenged to be able to “touch” certain elements of the history. If you want to see and learn more about it, you can take a tour at this gorgeous museum until September 2nd, 2012.
